Over my thirty year career, I have been an aesthetically driven professional, who has been lucky enough to enjoy the opportunities to design and build images for the screen, both individually and as part of a team. During this time I had the extraordinary luck to work on some of the most exquisitely designed sets, built by some of the leading artisans in the world. This was my inspiration to begin building furniture.
The majority of my work building furniture & whatnot, is by commission. When I first meet a client, I like to find out how the piece will be used, how it will associate with the rest of the room, and what the particular tastes and visions are of the client. From there I try to find the best blend of my taste and skill level, with the client's wishes. However, when I get the chance, I do enjoy building a piece that is entirely of my own imagination and design. Whatever I build, I build it to last, and never cut corners. I want it to last for generations.
